Comfy Couch Pictures is an award-winning film company, founded to provide films for the LGBTQ+ community, their families, friends and all who appreciate a diverse society.  

 

We want to create a more colourful voice on many topics and issues which go unnoticed by so many. We will enlighten viewers through entertainment to expand perceptions and understanding.

 

We are creating short films that will have an appeal to those people who wish to explore and understand the world around them and for many, to find solace in not being alone.

Comfy Couch Pictures is U.K based, and will be seeking people from the local community and beyond to work with us.  Writers, Actors, Cinematographers, Sound, Costume, Make-up.  In fact all the elements of film-making  which will give professionals and those just starting out, the chance to work in the professional industry, a chance to be creative and to let their creative juices flow.

Our films will cover a wide range of genres from Horror, Comedy, Romance,  Sci-fi, Film Noir, Documentary, Thriller.  

You name it, we will be exploring it!

We will be inviting story ideas, treatments and offering mentoring for those who wish to gain experience in all aspects of the film business.

Comfy Couch Pictures emerged in November of 2020 in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic.  A silver lining in what was a grey year for those in the entertainment industry. 

​

We officially launched in March 2022 when filming began on location in Australia with our first film, 'Luci'.

​

In fact, the production of 'LUCI' got a good luck message from Hollywood USA.  Here's the personal video message from Prolific Hollywood Director, Writer & Producer, Mr Sam Irvin.
